This position will be responsible for developing government procurement, securing new profitable business opportunities on DIBBS platform and in the form of Government contracts. Developing new relationships that lead to new business and new business opportunities, and maintaining existing business partnerships is a key. This position will require the Business Development Manager to interface directly with the US Government DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) and Government Bid Boards. This position would require a basic grasp of the following; DFARS, PROS, DCAS, DCMA, ITAR, US Department of State regulations, and TINA.

• This is a salary position commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience. Commission may be available based on experience and desire to have compensation based on salary and commission.

• Reports directly to the CEO.

1. Work with DLA DIBBS bid boards to secure new business opportunities

2. This position can also be responsible for developing non direct Government business as well

3. Create, maintain, and support sales documentation and sales process requirements 

4. Support other Account Managers and Sales Associates to facilitate the RFQs, purchase orders, sales orders, and customer service functions as specified in our QMS sales procedures and QMS requirements

5. Maintain compliance with Foreign Corrupt Practices Legislation

6. Maintain compliance with TRACE

7. Create, maintain, and support documented program plans and proposals that meet the Government and customer requirements for program management

8. Negotiate, close, and manage profitable contracts
